This is a very nice overview of the solar system for young readers. (There are also books in the “Isaac Asimov’s Library of the Universe” series on each of the planets individually, the sun, the asteroids, and the riffraff.) Older readers would probably enjoy something like Asimov’s New Guide to Science a bit more, however.
