This is a rather pleasant pamphlet prepared for the (now defunct) Atomic Energy Commission on some of the basic issues of electrical power: its history, some of the ways its generated, and the down sides of using it. It covers a lot of the material in some of the “How Did We Find Out” books (such as How Did We Find Out About Electricity? and How Did We Find Out About Nuclear Power?) for a slightly older audience. The illustrations are also reasonably good. Definitely this is something I would recommend to anybody who could get their hands on it.
