ATLANTIS
I really, really, really don’t like Atlantis stories.
Actually, that’s a lie. There are exactly two that I like. One is in this anthology (Ursula K. LeGuin’s “The New Atlantis”) and the other isn’t (it’s by Larry Niven and I forget the title). I really don’t like any of the other stories here—none of which are by the Good Doctor himself—no matter how well-crafted they may be. This is the rare case of an anthology whose presence on my bookshelves I really and honestly resent.
