Martian/human half-breeds who have fled to Venus to find a home of their own find trouble following them, trouble they avoid with the help of the natives of Venus.
One would not think it possible that the green Asimov of his early career could possibly write a story worse than "Half-Breed,” but this is it. Silly, adolescent romance, impossible astronomy and biology, cardboard characters.
This story does, however, have one redeeming feature: it’s the bottom of the Asimovian barrel. This is officially the Worst Story Written by Isaac Asimov so far as I’m concerned, and anything you read after it will be a step up.
