“The Last Shuttle”
The last space shuttle leaves the Earth and takes the last of humanity with it.
This is a story commissioned by a Florida newspaper to celebrate the launching of the first space shuttle. As with many stories commissioned by a non-sf periodical, it’s really uninteresting as science fiction or as a representative of Asimov’s writing. Dull, dull, dull.
