Azazel attempts to guard an economist from a most untimely fate.
Although the satire of Reaganomics is a bit heavy-handed—Asimov hated Reagan with a passion nearly equaling his hatred for Nixon and bitterly resented many of the social trends accompanying Reagan’s administration—the mathematics in the story is still cute enough and the story funny enough that I'm more than willing to forgive it.
