Someone on a space-station colony warns the Earth that it will not stay near Earth forever.

One cannot help but be reminded of Nemesis in this story, which is basically one of Asimov’s numerous essays on the colonization of space written up as a story (see the similar “In the Canyon,” also in Gold). It’s something one has read before repeatedly, and is here done far less interestingly than elsewhere. Skip it.
