A judge on another planet dispenses odd justice.
This feghoot actually features Ferdinand Feghoot as a character—which rather surprises me, as I would have imagined it would be necessary to get permission from somebody to do that. Oh, well. It also has two bad puns in it instead of one, which is perhaps a point in its favor. The puns aren’t offensively bad, however, as they are in some of Asimov’s other short-shorts. On the whole, this is one of the better stories in Gold—which is damning with faint praise, indeed.
